How to fit the bra perfectly?

The basis for the comfort and convenience of wearing underwear is the appropriate selection of a bra. This is the key to well-being, self-confidence, and above all, health for every woman. Choosing the right bra size ensures that your breasts are firmly supported and your body is not compressed. We show you how to choose a bra in a few simple steps:

Step 1 – measuring the circumference under the bust

The basis for the proper selection of a bra is to properly measure the circumference under the bust, because 80% of the weight of the breasts is based on the circumference. The bust circumference is measured on the exhale, placing a centimeter quite tightly against the body. 5 cm should be subtracted from the obtained value, because the materials from which the bras are made are flexible and adapt to the body. If your underbust circumference is, for example, 78 cm, subtract 5 centimeters and you will get 73. To accurately select your own size, measure a bra with a circumference of 70 and 75 centimeters and check which one you feel more comfortable in.

Step 2 – measuring the bust circumference

We measure the bust circumference, unlike under the bust, very loosely so as not to compress or crush the breasts in any way. It is best to measure the breast circumference without a bra to make accurate measurements. If you measure your bust circumference while wearing underwear, it is important to choose a non-padded bra that will only lift your breasts. We measure the bust circumference at the level of the nipples.

Bra size

Determining the correct bra size requires some calculations. From the bust circumference, subtract the underbust circumference (reduced by 5 cm). The difference you get after subtracting the results is your cup size.

12-13cm difference = A cup

14-15cm difference = B cup

16-17cm difference = C cup

18-19cm difference = D cup

20-21cm difference = DD and E cup

22-23cm difference = F cup

24 cm difference = G cup

REMEMBER!

UNDERWIRE – Underwires should cover the entire breasts and adhere to the body, with their ends pointing to the middle of the armpits. If they dig into the body, it’s a sign that the cup is too small.

STRAPS – With a properly selected bra, the straps carry 20% of the weight of the entire breast. They cannot cut into the skin, so it is necessary to lengthen them to such an extent that redness does not occur on the arms.

If your new bra size is significantly different from the one you were wearing before – take care of your health and replace your underwear with new ones!
